Never Seen LIVE...Redline (2009)

What's this? A special surprise episode? Why yes, it is! Not only that, it's also us sharing a recording of our LIVE podcast we did at this year's Birmingham Anime Film Festival (BAFFUK).
Never Seen was invited to be a part of BAFFUK this year and we watched a screening of the Anime space race film, REDLINE! The whole team had never seen it before and then, in front of a live audience, discussed their thoughts of the film. Listen in to hear our thought on Redline and our experience of being at the festival to do the live podcast.

NS 28. Frankenstein Extravaganza!

It's alive!Hello and welcome to a new and bumper extravaganza epiosde of Never Seen, right in time for spooky month!This month was Lee's choice and he had us all watch not 1 but 3(!) films for this month's episode. After the bombshell admission from Stacey that she hadn't just not seen Young Frankenstein but ANY Frankenstein film, Lee's mission was clear. To watch Frankenstein (1931), Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Young Frankenstein (1974). It was quite the challenge but the team did it. Now we share our thoughts on the films and find out if Stacey liked any of them.

27. Never Seen... Almost Famous

It's all happening! Hello and welcome to a new episode of Never Seen! This month was Jenni's choice and she chose perhaps her most modern movie to date! 2000's Cameron Crowe film, Almost Famous. Join the trio as they discuss this coming of age story loosely based on Crowe's on life. The team watched the 'Untitled' director's cut of the film which Lee and Stacey had not seen (although Stacey has seen the theatrical release before). What did Lee and Stacey think? Could Stacey remember the lead actor (Billy Crudup) at all? Did Lee enjoy the film? Did their friendship survive another favourite film offered to be viewed? Listen in to find out.

25. Never Seen... The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari

This month Lee threw it way, way back to 1920 and the German Expressionism silent horror film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari! None of the NS team had seen the film, a rarity for the pod. What did they all think of the film? Did they all watch the right film? Did they confuse the film with another film? Most important of all, what did they think of the film, did they love, loathe or were they indifferent to the film?
